WHPCA has resources focused on supporting the development of hospice and palliative care. Of special interest:

  • 'Palliative care toolkit: improving care in resource poor settings', in various languages
  • 'Advocacy Toolkit'

WHO has a concise introduction to "Palliative care: Issues and Challenges" (3pp PDF)

Aidsmap has a section on palliative care, focused on nutrition and mental health & emotional wellbeing. “Palliative care improves the quality of life for people living with HIV and their families through its holistic approach, and is a human right."

AVERT has a section on key affected populations (KAPs) – people who, for one reason or another, are more vulnerable to HIV infection. "An effective response to the HIV epidemic requires that these groups are targeted by HIV prevention programmes with information and services that are specific to them."
