The current worldwide hospice and palliative care online newsletter has a number of offers and resources even for small organisations.

There is an offer of two scholarships for Africans to do a Msc at King’s College London, free NHPCO membership for non-US NGOs, bursary places for a week’s study in London for people from the South, 50 Palliative Care Toolkits for training and for NGOs in Asia and the Pacific, a Distance Learning Diploma.

Asia Pacific Hospice Palliative Care Network (APHN) Diploma/Graduate Certificate in Palliative Care
Applications are invited for the 2009 intake for this course run by the National Cancer Center Singapore and Flinders University, Australia. This one-year distance learning programme includes two 2-week classroom intensives in Singapore, and a four-week clinical attachment at an accredited palliative care program in Singapore or the Asia Pacific region.

Fellowships and scholarships are available. Preference is given to candidates from developing countries in Asia and the Pacific.
