Who can use the forums? Anyone can view the forums. Only registered and 'logged in' users can reply to messages or post new ones. (To register as a new user, click here) How can I 'log in' to the forums? Once you have registered as a new user you will receive an email with a link -- you must click on this link to activate your user account. You only need to do this once. From then on you can log in as a registered user, using your chosen username and password. How can I post a new message (thread/topic) in the forums? Once 'logged in', decide which forum is relevant for your message, then click on it. For example, if you are looking for a particular training resource, click on the forum 'Guidance and Advice'. Then click on the 'NEW THREAD' button. The page will change to an editing page. Type in your subject and message in the boxes and click the 'Submit' button. How can I post a reply to an existing message? When logged in, you will see 3 buttons across the top of the message. Click on 'REPLY TOPIC'. Type in your message and click the 'Submit' button. How can I put a link (url) in my message? In the editing page, type in the url as part of your text, e.g. There is a good resource here: www.networklearning.org. Then select the url only (www.networklearning.org) and click on the 'URL' button in the control panel above the text box. This will automatically add a 'url tag' either side of your url, so that it now reads: There is a good resource here: [url]www.networklearning.org[/url] If you prefer you can also just type in the tags yourself: [url] immediately before the url address, and [/url] immediately after it.
